Scope
GB/T 25288-2010 is the English-translated version of 188W-188Re色层发生器.
GB/T 25288-2010 specifies the product specifications, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules of the 188W-188Re chromatographic generator, together with the requirements for product marking, labelling, the inspection certificate and the operating instructions and for packaging, transport and storage.
Clause 1 applies it to the 188W-188Re generator that uses 188W as the parent and Al2O3 as the adsorbent, and adds that other types of 188W-188Re generator may use the standard as a reference.
Clause 3, Terms and definitions, carries six entries: generator, a means of separating a radioactive daughter nuclide of shorter half-life from a radioactive parent nuclide of longer half-life; eluent, which in this standard is sodium chloride injection; eluate, the liquid collected from the generator after rinsing with the eluent and containing 188Re; generator elution efficiency, the percentage of the daughter nuclide activity washed out by a given volume of eluent against the total daughter activity present in the generator at the start; calibration time, whose definition the draft prints only as a circular phrase; and radionuclide purity, the percentage that the radioactivity of a given radionuclide represents of the total radioactivity of the substance.
The draft on the page stops at the end of clause 3, so the specification, requirement, test, inspection, marking and packaging clauses announced in clause 1 are not shown.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 2828.2, GB 11806 and GB 18871, and the page also lists the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (two) and the regulations on radioisotopes and radiation safety and protection (State Council Decree No. 449) among the quoted documents.
It was proposed by China National Nuclear Corporation, is handled by the National Standardization Technical Committee on Nuclear Energy (SAC/TC58) and was drafted by the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics. It was issued on 2010-11-10 and has applied since 2011-05-01.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 Generator
An isolated a shorter half-life of the radioactive daughter nuclides means from a longer half-life radioactive parent nuclides.
3.2 Eluent
For leaching from 188W-188Re 188Re generator color layer solution, especially in this standard sodium chloride injection.
3.3 Eluate
188W-188Re generator to collect the colored layer containing 188Re was rinsed with eluent.
3.4 Generator elution efficiency
Rinsed down with a volume of eluent daughter nuclides leaching accounted for at the beginning of the generator presence daughter nuclides percentage of total activity Division ratio.
3.5 Calibration time
Calibration time product specifications.
3.6 Radionuclide purity
Substance containing certain radionuclides, the radionuclide radioactivity of the material percentage of the total radioactivity.
