Scope
GB/T 25109.2-2010 is the English-translated version of 企业资源计划 第2部分：ERP 基础数据.
GB/T 25109.2-2010 is Part 2 of GB/T 25109, "Enterprise resource planning", and deals with ERP foundational data.
Clause 1 states that this part specifies the description format and the representation of ERP basic data and provides a data dictionary of that basic data, that it applies to ERP and related fields, and that it can also be used as a guiding document for establishing an ERP system.
The table of contents shows clause 3 "Terms, Definitions and Abbreviations", with 3.1 terms and definitions and 3.2 abbreviations, clause 4 "basic data description format", clause 5 on the representation of the underlying data and clause 6 "Basic Data Set", whose subclauses are the classification of basic data and the data elements of the data base, followed by a references list.
Clause 3.1 gives one term, basic data, defined as the general basic data related to ERP business that the running of an ERP system depends on and that has to be set up or entered, and clause 3.2 gives ERP for enterprise resource planning.
Clause 4 requires the compilation of ERP basic data to follow GB/T 19488.1-2004 and lists the attributes used to describe each item of ERP basic data, which are Chinese name, Chinese spelling, internal identifier, synonymous name, definition (description), data type, unit of measure and notes, set out in Table 1.
Clause 2 cites GB 2312, GB/T 7408, GB/T 19488.1-2004 and GB/T 25109.1-2010.
The foreword lists the four parts of GB/T 25109, on ERP terminology, ERP basic data, the ERP functional component specification and the ERP system architecture, states that this part is centrally managed by the National Standardization Technical Committee for automation systems and integration (SAC/TC159), and names the drafting units, among them China National Institute of Standardization and GETO Information Technology Co., Ltd. The draft on the page breaks off inside Table 1 of clause 4, so clauses 5 and 6 themselves are not shown. It was issued on 2010-09-02 and has applied since 2010-12-01.
