1 Scope

This part of GB/T 25000 provides requirements, recommendations and guidelines for the evaluation of software product quality, especially for developers, acquirers and

Independent evaluation party. This section is not limited to any specific application area and can be used for quality evaluation of any type of software product.

2 Compliance

The quality evaluation of the software products of the developer that claims to comply with this part shall comply with the requirements of Chapters 6 and 7 of this Part;

The quality evaluation of the demand side software products shall comply with the requirements of Chapters 6 and 8 of this Part; the independent evaluator software claimed to be in compliance with this part

Product quality evaluation shall comply with the requirements of Chapters 6 and 9 of this section.
