Scope

GB/T 24992-2010 is the English-translated version of 纸、纸板和纸浆 砷含量的测定.

GB/T 24992-2010 is the Chinese standard "Paper, board and pulps - Determination of arsenic". Its scope clause reads: This standard specifies the method for determination of pulp, paper and paperboard in arsenic content.

This standard applies to all kinds of available nitric acid digestion of wet pulp, paper and paperboard. This standard provides two methods for the determination of arsenic content, ie hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry and silver colorimetry.

According to the detection limit Detection equipment may be used in the present standard dual channel atomic fluorescence spectrometry with a detection limit of about 0.01mg/kg, silver colorimetric detection A limit of 0.5mg/kg. Its clauses include method one.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for determination of pulp, paper and paperboard in arsenic content.

This standard applies to all kinds of available nitric acid digestion of wet pulp, paper and paperboard.

This standard provides two methods for the determination of arsenic content, ie hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry and silver colorimetry. According to the detection limit

Detection equipment may be used in the present standard dual channel atomic fluorescence spectrometry with a detection limit of about 0.01mg/kg, silver colorimetric detection

A limit of 0.5mg/kg.

3 Method One

hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry

3.1 Principle

After a wet sample digestion, remove nitric acid and other oxidizing acid, under acidic conditions, ascorbic acid solution was added thiourea make the digestion solution Five

Trivalent arsenic is reduced to trivalent arsenic and nascent hydrogen by the reaction of potassium borohydride and an acid solution produced by the reaction and generate gaseous hydrides, brought by the carrier gas

Quartz atomizer thermal decomposition into atomic arsenic in arsenic hollow cathode lamp emits a light beam emitted from excited, to produce atomic fluorescence, fluorescence

Intensity proportional to the amount of arsenic, compared with standard series quantified.

3.2 Reagents

Unless otherwise indicated, used in the analysis confirmed only for the gifted class pure reagents.
