GB/T 24820-2024General technical requirements for laboratory furniture (English PDF)

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB 24820-2009 "General Technical Requirements for Laboratory Furniture". Compared with GB 24820-2009, except for structural adjustments and In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The scope of non-application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2009 edition);

b) Modified normative references. Updated according to the changes in the referenced documents or the referenced document year (see Chapter 2, 2009 Chapter 2 of the 2011 edition);

c) Changed terms and definitions. deleted structure, operating surface, facility area, etc.; added laboratory furniture, laboratory bench and storage cabinet (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2009 edition);

d) Changed symbols. symbols such as total depth of countertop, reagent (or equipment) rack suspension depth, facility area depth and countertop width have been deleted.

Its description; added the definition and explanation of the symbols for the net width, net depth and net height of the test bench leg space, knee space and foot space Ming (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2009 edition)

e) The classification has been changed (see 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 of the 2009 edition), and the classification by console layout has been deleted (see Version 5.4);

f) The main dimensions have been changed (see 6.1 Table 2, No. 2, No. 6 to No. 10 in 6.1 Table 2 of the 2009 edition). The table width has been deleted.

Depth, facility area depth, reagent (or equipment) rack suspension depth, operating table bottom plate height from the ground (see 6.1 Table 2 of the 2009 version) No. 1, No. 3, No. 4~No. 5, No. 11);

g) The main dimensions and dimensional deviations, shape and position tolerances have been changed (see 6.2, 6.2 of the 2009 edition)

h) The appearance requirements have been changed (see 6.3.1 to 6.3.5, 6.3 of the 2009 edition), and the requirements for plastic parts and stone parts have been added (see 6.3.6, 6.3.7);

i) The safety performance requirements and test methods have been changed (see 6.4, 7.4.3, 6.6, 8.4.5 of the 2009 edition), and the test method for retained liquid has been added.

Requirements for test bench surfaces and test bench handles (see 6.4.6);

j) The flame retardancy requirements and test methods have been deleted (see 6.7 and 8.4.6 of the 2009 edition);

k) Deleted the requirements and test methods for drainage pipes, aging resistance, crack resistance, and anti-static properties of physical laboratory tables (see the 2009 edition 6.8.1~6.8.3 and 8.4.7 Table 11, No. 1, No. 2);

l) The physical and chemical performance requirements and test methods have been changed (see 6.5, 7.4.4, 6.8, 8.4.7 of the 2009 edition), and the durability of plastic materials has been increased.

Requirements and test methods for aging and impact strength (see 6.5.1.6, 7.4.4.6);

m) The mechanical property requirements and test methods have been changed (see 6.6, 7.4.5, 6.9, 8.4.8 of the 2009 edition), and the mechanical properties of the test bench have been added.

The requirements for the test sequence (see 7.4.5.1, 7.4.5.2) have been added, and the durability test of the height adjustment device of the independent test bench and the foot test have been added.

Wheel reciprocating durability test (see Table 6 of 7.4.5.2);

n) The requirements for test specimens have been changed (see 7.1, 8.1 of the 2009 edition);

o) Deleted the test report (see 8.5 of the 2009 edition);

p) The design and installation guidelines have been changed (see Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the 2009 edition);

q) The content of the mark has been changed (see 10.1, 10.1 of the 2009 edition);

r) The instructions for use have been changed (see 10.2, 10.5 of the 2009 edition).

1 Scope

This document specifies the product classification, requirements, design and installation guidelines, inspection rules, marking, instructions for use, packaging and transportation of laboratory furniture.

and storage, and describes the test methods.

This document applies to the design, production, installation, sales and quality inspection and evaluation of laboratory benches and storage cabinets.

This document does not apply to furniture for special laboratory use.

Examples. Special laboratories, such as those for assessment of ageing, degradation, heating effects, ergonomics and fire protection.
