1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determining the purity of ursolic acid by high performance liquid chromatography.
This standard applies to the determination extracted from leaves, rosemary and other plants ursolic acid products ursolic acid mass fraction.

3.1 Warning

By high performance liquid chromatography, under the selected operating conditions, the compound through the column and the separation of impurities in the sample solution target with purple

3.3.1 Water, GB/T 6682-2008, Class 2
through 0.45µm membrane filter and degassed ultrasound.

Methanol (HPLC grade).
3.3.3 ursolic acid standard sample
national certified reference materials, ursolic acid mass fraction >=99.8%.
3.4 Instrument
3.4.1 HPLC system
3.4.1.1 High pressure pump
no pulse, can maintain the flow 0.1mL/min ~ 10.0mL/min.

3.4.1.3 UV absorption detector
variable wavelength.
3.4.1.4 Data Processing System

A pore diameter of 0.45µm filtration system filters cellulose esters (for pretreatment mobile phase).

0.45µm pore size of the filtration system using a cellulose ester membrane filter (used for sample pretreatment).

Autosampler, or micro-syringe (HPLC-specific). 50µL.
