GB/T 24338.5-2018 — This Part of GB/T 24338 specifies the emission and immunity requirements and performance criteria of signalling and telecommunications apparatus (hereafter abbreviated as "apparatus") in the railway environment. This Part applies to the apparatus included in GB/T 24338.4 being installed in the railway environment and working normally, and the telecommunications signalling data line and power line connected to the apparatus under test. The emission and immunity requirements of on-board signalling and telecommunications apparatus are specified by GB/T 24338.4. The emission and immunity requirements of signalling and telecommunications apparatus installed in the substation and connected to the substation are specified by GB/T 24338.6. The electromagnetic compatibility requirements of apparatus within the scope of GB 17625.1 or GB/T 17625.2 are specified by GB 17625.1 or GB/T 17625.2. If the emission of the apparatus meets the emission limits specified in GB 17799.4, as long as the emission of any DC power port is less than the specified emission limits of AC power port, it also complies with the provisions of this Part. The immunity requirements specified in this Part apply to. - Key apparatus, such as interlock system and signalling control system; - Apparatus in 3 m zone; - Apparatus in 10 m zone with ports connected to apparatus in 3 m zone; - Apparatus in 10 m zone with more than 30 m of cable connected. the railway environment and working normally, and the telecommunications

signalling data line and power line connected to the apparatus under test.

The emission and immunity requirements of on-board signalling and

telecommunications apparatus are specified by GB/T 24338.4. The emission

and immunity requirements of signalling and telecommunications apparatus

installed in the substation and connected to the substation are specified by

The immunity level specified for the apparatus in this Part allows the apparatus

to operate properly in the railway environment in most cases. When the

apparatus is directly exposed to interference, or the cable connected to it

3 Terms and definitions

What defined in GB/T 4365 and the following terms and definitions are

applicable to this document.

3.1 Port

5 Emission limits

The maximum emission of the apparatus shall meet GB 17799.4. The

conducted emission limits shall be applicable to both the AC power port and the

DC power port.

6 Performance criteria and test requirements for

immunity test

6.1 Performance criteria

The apparatus covered in this Part is diverse and it is difficult to give accurate

performance criteria for immunity test results. Therefore, unless otherwise

specified, the requirements of performance criteria shall be subject to GB/T

24338.1.

6.2 Test requirements

This Part specifies the immunity requirements based on each port of the

apparatus.

It shall, under clear and repeatable test conditions, carry out the tests item by

item. The test sequence can be selected. SEE Table 1 ~ Table 5 for the test

conditions, environmental disturbances, test methods, and test configurations

specified in the basic standards. If the apparatus has a large number of ports

with similar electrical characteristics or similar connections, it shall select a

sufficient number of ports (for example, SELECT 20% of the total number of

ports or at least 4 ports), to simulate on-site working conditions and ensure that

all different types of ports are covered.

The content of the basic standards is not repeated, but the additional

information required for the actual process of the test is given here.

Traction current induced voltage is not considered in this Part.

Note. The relevant traction current induced voltage is specified by the apparatus's

technical specifications.
