3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this part of the GB/T 24218 of.
Penetration time strike-throughtime A quantity of liquid flows in a standard liquid-absorbent pad laid nonwoven fabric covering the surface of the material, the time required to penetrate the coating material.
Principle 4
A certain amount of simulated urine under specified conditions, to flow at a constant speed on a standard laying the absorbent pad of non-woven fabric sample, electricity measurement method Measuring the time required for all of the liquid to penetrate the nonwoven fabric specimen.
5 Materials and Reagents
5.1 standard absorbent pad 5 by a standard filter paper layer (100mm × 100mm) composition, smooth side up, in the case where no sample, measured after 10 times the average amount of liquid penetration time (3 ± 0.5) s.
5.2 analog urine, formulated NaCl 9g/L in line with GB/T 6682 tertiary water (or deionized water) at (23 ± 2) °C under A surface tension of (70 ± 2) mN/m.
Note 1. Due to storage, the surface tension of the liquid will change, Before each test, the surface tension of the liquid should be tested.
Note 2. Adult Urine surface tension of 69mN/m to 70mN/m. Some low surface tension of infant urine (e.g. 45mN/m). Be able to simulate urine Adding a surfactant to adjust surface tension. Addition of a surfactant as the difference between this section, should be described in the test report, and show the surface tension of the liquid.
6 Instruments
6.1 Buret capacity of 50mL, with support frame.
6.2 funnel with solenoid drain valve to control the liquid flow rate (3.5 ± 0.25) s internal flows 25mL.
