1 Scope

This standard specifies the industrial radiography to detect metal intensifying screen classification, technical requirements and test methods.

This standard applies to the lead, steel, copper, tantalum, tungsten and other metal intensifying screen, other metal intensifying screen can also refer to this standard.

This standard applies to metallic intensifying screen type testing and factory inspection. This standard can also be ordered as a user acceptance basis.

This standard applies metal intensifying screens according to different metal materials are divided into the following categories.

a) lead screens;

b) steel screen;

c) copper screen;

d) tantalum screen;

e) tungsten screen.

NOTE. The standard classification of metal intensifying screen and GB/T 19943 requirements are the same.
