Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 23854-2009 "Bromochlorohydantoin", compared with GB/T 23854-2009, except for editorial modifications, the changes are as follows:

--- Added the normative reference document "GB 6944-2012 Dangerous Goods Classification and Product Name Number" (see Chapter 2);

--- Added "terms and definitions" (see Chapter 4);

--- Removed the chromaticity and its determination method (see Tables 1 and 4.4 of the 2009 edition);

--- Removed chloroform insolubles and their determination methods (see Tables 1 and 4.5 of the 2009 edition);

- Potentiometric titration was added to the method for determining the content of bromochlorohydantoin (see 6.2.1);

--- Change the "bromine content" to "active bromine content", the measurement method is changed from the volume method to the potentiometric titration method (see Tables 1 and 6.3, 2009 edition) 4.2);

--- Change the "chlorine content" to "active chlorine content", the measurement method is changed from the volume method to the potentiometric titration method (see Tables 1 and 6.3, 2009 edition) 4.2);

--- Increased the content of inactive chlorine (in terms of NaCl) and its determination method (see Tables 1 and 6.3);

---Adjusted packaging, storage conditions and extended product shelf life (see Chapter 8, Chapter 6 of the 2009 edition);

--- Removed the security prompt, adjusted its content to adjust to warning (see Chapter 7 of the 2009 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of bromochlorohydantoin.

This standard applies to bromochlorohydan prepared by halogenation of 5,5-dimethylhydantoin, mainly used in industrial circulating water, oilfield water injection, and life. Bactericidal and algae-killing of sewage and landscape recreation water, can also be used for disinfection and disinfection of swimming pools, medical sewage, food processing and storage, aquaculture Anti-epidemic disinfection, etc.
