This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 23511-2009 "General Requirements for Offshore Structures in the Oil and Gas Industry", and GB/T 23511-2009

In contrast, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Added terms and definitions such as "rare environmental events", "accidental events", "calibration", "design resistance" and "degradation", changed "design/evaluation"

terms and definitions such as "Evaluation Standard" and "Design/Assessment Conditions", and the terms and definitions such as "Catenary Mooring" and "Compliant Structure" are deleted (see

Chapter 3, Chapter 2 of the:2009 edition);

b) Changed symbols and abbreviations (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the:2009 edition);

c) Changed the provisions of the basic requirements of the structure, and added the description of the general rules (see 5:1);

d) Changed the structural integrity requirements that the structure and components should meet (see 5:2, 4:1 of the:2009 edition), and increased the function of the offshore platform:

o) The provisions for foundation and mooring system are added (see 6:5:6), and the provisions for additional operation requirements are added (see 6:5:7);

p) The requirement for structural subdivision is deleted (see 4:9:5 of the:2009 edition);

q) The regulations on hazards and hazardous events have been changed (see 7:1 and 7:2, 4:3 of the:2009 edition), and the relevant regulations on exposure levels have been added

(see 7:3), the provisions on structural and component design/assessment conditions have been changed (see 7:4, 5:2:2 of the:2009 edition);

r) Changed the limit state verification method (see Chapter 8, Chapter 5 of the:2009 edition), added the description of the general rule (see 8:1), changed
