1 Scope
This document specifies the naming, product classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking and packaging of stone countertops.
Loading, transporting and storing.
This document applies to all types of countertops made from natural stone and synthetic stone.
5 Technical Requirements
5.1 General Requirements
5.1.1 The specifications of the countertop and the processing shape of the decorative edges and sides shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the buyer. Common washbasin boards and kitchen boards are assembled...
The components and names of each part are shown in Figure 1, and the schematic diagram of the window sill processing is shown in Figure 2.
5.1.2 Reinforced backing mesh should be affixed to the back of washboards and kitchen panels made of marble and other processed stone. The adhesives used for repair and bonding should be carefully selected.
The adhesive used should meet the requirements of GB/T 24264.
5.1.3 The board material shall be protected with a suitable protective agent, which shall meet the requirements of GB/T 32837.
5.2 Dimensional Deviation
5.2.1 The dimensional deviation of the standard tabletop shall conform to the provisions of Table 1, and the position design of the holes shall meet the safety requirements.
5.2.2 The allowable dimensional deviations of irregularly shaped tabletops shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.
5.3 Flatness Tolerance
The flatness tolerance of the countertop should conform to the specifications in Table 2.Special requirements such as the washboard being concave with symmetry around the center of the basin opening, etc., shall be negotiated between the supplier and the buyer. Sure.
5.4 Angle tolerance
5.4.1 The angle tolerance of the standard tabletop should not exceed 0.60mm.
5.4.2 The outline dimensions of the basin holes and irregularly shaped countertops shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.
5.5 Appearance Quality
5.5.1 The color tone of the same set of countertops should be basically harmonious, and the patterns should be basically consistent.
5.5.2 The appearance defects of the front of the table panel shall comply with the provisions of Table 3.
5.5.3 The decorative edge effect should be basically consistent with the main surface, and the exposed edges and corners should be smooth.
5.5.4 Decorative edges with added backing strips should not have obvious adhesive lines, and the maximum adhesive seam should not exceed 0.4mm.
5.6 Specular gloss
5.6.1 The specular gloss of the granite countertop should be no less than 75 gloss units or as determined by the agreement between the supplier and the buyer.
5.6.2 The specular gloss of the marble countertop should be no less than 70 gloss units or as determined by negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.
5.6.3 The mirror gloss of other stone, engineered stone, and quartz countertops shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.
5.7 Performance
5.7.1 The performance of the countertop material shall conform to the requirements of Table 4.
5.7.2 The performance of the panel products shall comply with the requirements of Table 5.
5.7.3 Countertop products with anti-mildew and antibacterial functions should also meet the anti-mildew, antibacterial, and safety requirements of the project.
6 Test Methods
6.1 Dimensions
6.1.1 Length, width, and thickness
Use vernier calipers or other measuring instruments that meet the required precision to measure the length, width, and thickness of the plate. The length and width are measured at three points on the plate.
Position measurement (see Figure 3), thickness measurement at the four midpoints of the basin opening (see Figure 4). The maximum deviation between the measured value and the nominal value is used for each measurement.
The minimum value indicates the dimensional deviation of length, width, and thickness. Measurements are accurate to 0.1 mm.
6.1.2 Water hole diameter
Measure the diameter of the hole using a vernier caliper or other measuring instrument that meets the accuracy requirements along two mutually perpendicular centerlines, and measure the diameter using the maximum deviation.
The maximum and minimum values represent the size deviation of the water hole, and the measurement is accurate to 0.1 mm.
6.1.3 Shape of the basin opening
Use a vernier caliper or other measuring instrument that meets the accuracy requirements to measure the maximum and minimum diameters of the hole on two axes, and measure the deviations using the maximum and minimum values respectively.
The maximum and minimum values represent the dimensional deviation of the basin hole, with measurements accurate to 0.1 mm.
6.1.4 Location of water holes and basin holes
Measure the minimum distance from the water hole and basin hole to the end edge using a vernier caliper or other measuring instrument that meets the accuracy requirements, and then measure the distance from the nominal value to the end edge.
The difference indicates that the measured value is accurate to 0.1 mm.
6.2 Flatness
Place a 1000mm steel straightedge with a flatness tolerance of 0.1mm naturally on the windowsill, 10mm from the edge, and on the surface to be inspected.
On the two diagonals, use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the gauge face and the plate surface. When the side length and diagonal length of the inspected surface are greater than 1000mm, use a steel...
The window sill is inspected in segments along its side length and diagonal, with the overlap not less than 1/3 of the straightedge. The maximum gap measurement is used to represent the flatness of the window sill.
Tolerance. Measurements are accurate to 0.05mm. For washbasin boards and kitchen boards with drainage holes, place a straightedge naturally at a distance from the edge of the board.
At 10mm, check the flatness tolerance of the four edges using the method described above.
6.3 Angle
Use a 90° steel angle ruler with an interior angle perpendicularity tolerance of 0.13mm and an interior angle side length of 500mm x 400mm. Place the short side of the angle ruler against the board.
Place the short side of the board against the long side of the board, and use a feeler gauge to measure the maximum gap between the long side of the board and the long side of the square. Measure the four corners of the board, with the maximum gap being...
The measured value of the gap represents the angular tolerance of the tabletop, and the measurement is accurate to 0.05mm.
6.4 Appearance Quality
6.4.1 Color scheme and pattern
Place the boards to be inspected side by side on the ground and visually inspect them from a distance of 1.5m.
6.4.2 Appearance defects
Visually inspect the length and width of the defect using a vernier caliper or other measuring instrument that meets the accuracy requirements, with the measurement accurate to 0.1 mm.
6.4.3 Side Effects of Processing

6.4.4 Add edge adhesive to the thread
Visually inspect the maximum adhesive joint width using a vernier caliper or other measuring instrument that meets the accuracy requirements, with the measurement accurate to 0.1 mm.
6.5 Specular gloss
The gloss meter with an incident angle of 60° and an aperture diameter of not less than 18 mm was used to measure the gloss on the product, and the test was conducted according to the provisions of GB/T 13891.
The measurement point at the center is shown in Figure 5.
6.6 Performance
6.6.1 Bulk density and water absorption rate
For granite, marble, and other types of stone, the sample size is 50mm x 50mm x actual thickness; for others, it conforms to GB/T 9966.3.
The tests were conducted according to the prescribed methods; engineered stone and quartz stone were tested according to the methods specified in GB/T 35160.1.Samples were prepared from plates in the same batch.
6.6.2 Bending strength
Granite, marble, and other types of stone are tested according to the actual thickness as specified in GB/T 9966.2.Granite and quartz stone are tested according to...
For the tests specified in GB/T 35160.2, samples are prepared from the same batch of plates.
6.6.3 Limits on Radionuclides
The test shall be conducted in accordance with the method specified in GB 6566-2010.
6.6.4 Stain resistance
The test shall be conducted according to the method specified in GB/T 35157.
6.6.5 Drop ball impact resistance
Granite, marble, and limestone shall be tested according to the methods specified in GB/T 9966.14; granite and quartz shall be tested according to GB/T 35160.6.
The test was conducted using a specific method, and the test was performed on the product according to its actual thickness.
6.6.6 High temperature resistance
The test shall be conducted according to the method specified in GB/T 35157.
6.6.7 Resistance to artificial weathering
The test shall be conducted according to the method specified in GB/T 35157.
6.6.8 Thermal shock resistance
Granite, marble, and limestone shall be tested according to the method specified in GB/T 9966.11; engineered stone and quartz stone shall be tested according to GB/T 35160.5.
The experiment was conducted using a specific method.
6.6.9 Chemical corrosion resistance
The test shall be conducted according to the method specified in GB/T 35157.
7 Inspection Rules
7.1 Inspection Items
The type test and factory inspection items are shown in Table 6.
7.2 Type Testing
7.2.1 Inspection conditions
Type testing shall be conducted under any of the following circumstances.
a) When a new factory goes into operation;
b) When there are significant changes in raw materials, formula, or production process;
c) During normal production, this is done once a year.
7.2.2 Batching and Sampling
Countertops of the same variety and category constitute a batch.
Dimensional deviations, flatness tolerances, angular tolerances, appearance quality, and specular gloss were sampled according to Table 7.
Test samples for material properties and product application performance are taken from qualified samples of tabletops and tested according to the specifications specified in the test method.
Prepare double the quantity of samples, reserving one as a backup. Material properties can be obtained from the same batch of raw materials.
7.2.3 Determination
If all inspection results of the tabletop meet the technical requirements, the tabletop is deemed qualified.
If the number of nonconformities found in the sample is less than or equal to the acceptance number (Ac), then the batch of panel panels is deemed合格 (qualified) for that item; if...
If the number of nonconformities is greater than or equal to the rejection number (Re), then the batch of panel is deemed nonconforming.
If all performance test results meet the corresponding requirements in 5.7, the batch of tabletops and above items are deemed合格 (qualified); if two or more items fail to meet the requirements...
If any item does not meet the corresponding requirements of 5.7, the batch of countertop panels is deemed unqualified; if any item does not meet the corresponding requirements of 5.7, a spare sample should be used to test that item.
If the re-inspection is successful, the batch of tabletop panels is deemed to be qualified; otherwise, the batch of tabletop panels is deemed to be unqualified.
7.3 Factory Inspection
7.3.1 Batching
Tabletops of the same variety and category constitute a batch.
7.3.2 Sampling
The full number test method was used.
7.3.3 Determination
If all inspection results of the tabletop meet the technical requirements, the tabletop is deemed qualified.
If all countertops in a batch are合格 (qualified/compliant), then that batch of countertops is considered合格 (qualified/compliant); if any不合格 (unqualified/non-compliant) countertops are found in a batch, then that batch is considered合格 (qualified/compliant).

8 Marking, Packaging, Transport and Storage
8.1 Marking
8.1.1 The tabletop shall be marked with. company name, trademark, and logo, and shall include "Head Up" and "Handle with Care" markings and comply with GB 191. Regulation.
8.1.2 For countertops with specific installation sequence requirements, the installation sequence number should be marked on each panel.
8.2 Packaging
8.2.1 Pack the countertops separately according to their type and category, and attach a product certificate (including product name, specifications, batch number, inspector, and date of manufacture).
(Period); the smooth surfaces of the boards should face each other and be covered with protective padding.
8.2.2 Packaging shall meet the requirements for safe loading, unloading and transportation under normal conditions.
8.3 Transportation
The tabletop should be protected from collisions, tipping over, and rolling during transportation.
8.4 Storage
8.4.1 The countertop should be stored indoors, and if stored outdoors, it should be covered.
8.4.2 Stack them separately according to the type, specifications, category or batch of the tabletop.
