Foreword
This standard is identical with ISO 8113:2004 "Vertical load test method for Resistance of Glass Containers" (in English).
This standard is equivalent translation ISO 8113:2004.
For ease of use, this standard made the following editorial changes.
a) "this International Standard" be replaced by "this standard";
b) Remove the preface international standards;
c) increasing the preface of this standard.
The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee household glass (SAC/TC377) centralized.
This standard was drafted. Donghua University, the National Optical glass enamels Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of glass containers bear the additional vertical force.
2 Sampling
According to a predetermined number of containers tested.
A container for the test should not be subjected to mechanical tests or any other tests adversely affect the heat resistance of their vertical load.
3 Devices
3.1 pressure meter or other suitable device includes the following features.
3.1.1 The device should have the ability to continue to increase the desired pressure, and the recording apparatus using a pointer or display this pressure, the precision of at least 2.5%.
3.1.2 by means of two horizontal flat steel plate components. Flat top should be able to regulate their own level, flat surface of the center of the bottom it should be labeled.
3.1.3 device should be configured shield, or should be configured sufficiently strong cylindrical shield for each type of test vessel, shield high it should be slightly lower than the height of the test sample.
3.2 gasket, for example. several layers of paper or card stock, in order to prevent the glass to metal contact under load.
To obtain a stable load, and prevent contact between the glass and the metal, spacers, such as. a plastic sheet or a rubber sheet, paper folding, Card stock or caps should be inserted between the glass surface and the metal surface pressure.
4 Test Procedure
4.1 sample temperature and ambient temperature difference should not exceed 5 °C.
4.2 particular attention to ensure no plate glass particles. Place a base gasket (3.2) at the bottom center of the plate, put the test vessel Thereon. Center test vessel should be consistent with the center of the device.
4.3 with a shield to protect the test vessel, at the same time, if the test specified in the mouth portion of the container sealing surface placed on its consistent seal thereof. In addition to making with sealing compound outside, covering a test vessel and placed at the bottom of the same base gasket on the test container. You can use either paper Sealing compound can also be used, for the replacement of the test vessel on each test, the lower pad.
Note. consistent sealing compound is suitable for use, especially when using a metal seal with a sealing compound layer, in these cases, the application manually spiral and bayonet lock sealing compound.
The average advance rate or a rate constant of 4.4 increase in pressure, and should be recorded.
4.5 The following tests conducted in accordance with the purpose and the type of test.
4.5.1 Test
Increasing the pressure to a predetermined value. When it reaches a predetermined value, it should remove the plate. After the test container according to the number of pre-defined test, trial Inspection is completed.
4.5.2 Full escalation trial
Gradually increase the pressure until the test container rupture. All test sample containers are required to be tested.
5 Safety requirements
If the operator does not carry out proper protection during the test may damage the body. The test shall be carried out under the recommended security methods.
