1 Scope

GB/T 22761-2008 is the Chinese national standard on electric circular saws, in the field of manufacturing engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. This standard specifies the basic parameters of electric circular saw, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs and packaging requirements. This standard applies to general environmental conditions, wood, fibreboard, plastics and flexible cables, and similar materials for processing sawn straight Stream, AC and DC, single-phase series electric circular saw (hereinafter referred to as electric circular saw).

3 Basic parameters and type
