Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 22465-2008 "Safflower Seed Oil". Compared with GB/T 22465-2008, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---Some terms and definitions have been changed (see 3.1~3.5, and 3.1, 3.4, 3.5, 3.2, and

3.3 in the.2008 edition);

---Some terms and definitions have been deleted (see 3.6~

3.18 of the.2008 edition);

---The classification has been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2008 edition);

---The basic composition and main physical parameters, as well as the quality indicators, have been changed (see 5.1, 5.2, and

5.2 in the.2008 version);

---Hygiene indicators, restrictions on additive use, and authenticity requirements have been removed (see sections 5.3-

5.5 of the.2008 edition);

---Some testing methods have been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the.2008 edition).

---General inspection rules (see 7.1) and sampling (see 7.2) have been added, and the rules for factory inspection, type inspection, and judgment (see 7.3~) have been revised. 7.5 (7.1~

7.3 in the.2008 edition);

4 Classification

4.1 Safflower seed oil is divided into crude safflower seed oil and finished safflower seed oil according to the degree of processing.

4.2 Safflower seed oil is divided into pressed safflower seed oil and extracted safflower seed oil according to different processing techniques.

4.3 Based on the different main fatty acid compositions in safflower seed oil, it is divided into high oleic acid safflower seed oil and high linoleic acid safflower seed oil.

5 Quality Requirements

5.1 Basic Components and Main Physical Parameters The basic composition and main physical parameters of safflower seed oil should conform to the specifications in Table

1.These main components and parameters represent the basic composition of safflower seed oil. This characteristic should be used for reference only when used to determine authenticity. The total sterols and sterol composition of safflower seed crude oil are shown in Appendix A.

6 Test methods

6.1 Relative density test. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5526.

6.2 Fatty acid composition test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.168.

6.3 Transparency, odor and taste tests. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5525.

6.4 Color inspection. Performed in accordance with GB/T 5009.37-2003.

6.5 Moisture and volatile matter content testing. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.236.

6.6 Test for insoluble impurities. Performed in accordance with GB/T 15688.

6.7 Acid value test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.229.

6.8 Peroxide value test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.227.

6.9 Solvent residue test. Performed in accordance with GB 5009.262.

6.10 Test for sterol composition and total sterol content. Performed in accordance with GB/T 25223.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 General Rules for Inspection It should be implemented in accordance with GB/T 5490.

7.2 Sampling It should be implemented in accordance with GB/T 5524.

8 Labeling

8.1 Product names should be labeled according to the terms and definitions.

8.2 The processing technology and product grade should be indicated on the packaging or accompanying documents.
