1 Scope

GB/T 22330.7-2008 is the Chinese national standard on specified animal disease free zone - part 7: rinderpest free zone, in the field of health care technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. 4 Latency

5 Temporary rinderpest

6 Rinderpest disease

6.1 If a country or region for at least five years without immunization rinderpest, and in five years, no signs of rinderpest occurred, As long as this country permanently with good disease reporting system, OIE can declare the country free of rinderpest disease.

6.2 If a country or a region of the country declared provisionally free of rinderpest, to get recognized by OIE, the Region shall comply with The following requirements.

6.2.1 At least 5 years have not detected with clinical rinderpest.

6.2.2 at least 3 years have not susceptible animals were vaccinated, and at least 3 years have not cattle, buffalo or yak used Rinderpest prevention Heterologous vaccine.

6.2.3 Clinical surveillance and outbreak reports carried enough to detect clinical cases.
