This section GB/T 22330 specifies the rinderpest (RP) requires conditions area. This section applies to the establishment of rinderpest-free zones, identification and conformity assessment.

3 Terms and definitions, abbreviations Terms and definitions

4 Latency

Rinderpest incubation period of 21 days.

5 Temporary rinderpest

In addition to compliance with GB/T 22330.1 relevant principles, the Region shall meet the following requirements.

5.1 At least 2 years without clinical cases detected.

5.2 has a valid veterinary system to monitor animal health, and to investigate all suspected clinical evidence of rinderpest.

5.3 epidemic reporting system is perfect.

5.4 reliable prevention system, through reasonable border controls and quarantine measures to prevent incoming rinderpest.

5.5 rinderpest vaccination at no date announced a temporary halt of rinderpest, a written notice of this decision shall be World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and Neighboring countries, and also explain to stop vaccination date.

6 Rinderpest disease

6.1 If a country or region for at least five years without immunization rinderpest, and in five years, no signs of rinderpest occurred, As long as this country permanently with good disease reporting system, OIE can declare the country free of rinderpest disease.

6.2 If a country or a region of the country declared provisionally free of rinderpest, to get recognized by OIE, the Region shall comply with The following requirements.

6.2.1 At least 5 years have not detected with clinical rinderpest.

6.2.2 at least 3 years have not susceptible animals were vaccinated, and at least 3 years have not cattle, buffalo or yak used Rinderpest prevention Heterologous vaccine.

6.2.3 Clinical surveillance and outbreak reports carried enough to detect clinical cases.
