Foreword

This revised standard adopts ISO 22498:2005 (E) "vinyl chloride homopolymer and copolymer resin particle size was measured using a mechanical sieve" (English Version).

This standard is based on ISO 22498. redraft 2005 (E), and its main technical differences are as follows.

--- Normative references cited in the standards are not identical with the corresponding international standards;

--- Modify the calculation and expression of results, increasing the deviation sieve residue requirements;

--- Chapter 10, "precision" no data, therefore deleted.

For ease of use, this standard made the following editorial changes.

a) "this International Standard" be replaced by "this standard";

b) use a decimal point instead of a decimal comma ",". ",";

c) Remove the preface to the international standards.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the quality by measuring the resin remaining on the selected sieve having a mesh size of the different measurement of vinyl chloride homo- and Copolymerization resin particle size distribution.

The results can be a single sieve sieve residue on the entire sample or the average particle size to represent.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
