GB/T 21781-2008 — This standard specifies the test methods for melting point and melting range of chemicals - capillary method. This standard applies to chemicals and determination of melting range of the melting point is higher than the temperature range from room temperature to 300 °C general method.

Note 1. m.p. suitable material having a defined melting point. Note 2. The melting range of suitable (such as glass, amorphous form, or a multicomponent mixture, such as oils, fats, waxes, vaseline, etc.) without a defined melting point substance.

Note 3. If the other individual product testing methods or standards of a series of products are not specified in this standard method is recommended according to the standard method test.
