1 Scope

GB/T 21715.2-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the common data objects of a health card - the person, the provider, the identifiers, the dates and the coded values that every other part of the card is assembled from. Part 2 of the series. It replaces GB/T 21715.2-2008, revised together with Parts 1 and 3. It was issued on 31 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 July 2026, replacing GB/T 21715.2-2008.
