Scope

GB/T 21303-2017 is the English-translated version of 灌溉渠道系统量水规范.

GB/T 21303-2017 is the Chinese national specification for measuring the water carried by an irrigation canal system. It covers the layout of the gauging station network, the measuring methods and facilities, and the basic quantities observed: water level and flow velocity.

It gives the procedures for current-meter gauging, standard cross sections, canal structures such as culvert gates, inverted siphons, falls and aqueducts, thin-walled and broad-crested weirs, and flumes of the Parshall, throatless, parabolic-throat, straight-wall, airfoil and long-throat types.

It also lists the instruments used, from float and pressure water-level gauges to ultrasonic and electromagnetic flowmeters, and sets how observations are made and the data compiled.

It applies to new, extended and rebuilt irrigation canal systems and to drainage systems. It replaces GB/T 21303-2007, was issued on 1 November 2017 and has applied since 1 May 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 21303-2007 "Irrigation Channel System Quantity Water Specifications", compared with GB/T 21303-2007, in addition to editorial Modification and modification of accuracy, the original standard framework and structure were adjusted with the following main technical contents.

--- The terms and definitions, revised to 30, of which 27 reservations improve, add 3, delete 27;

--- To retain and improve the GB/T 21303-2007 reflect the characteristics of irrigation channel system water characteristics of the " Layout "" standard cross-section of the amount of water "and" canal system of building water "and other major content;

--- Added "volume of water method" and "volume of water basic elements" two chapters;

--- "GB/T 21303-2007 in the" weir tank water "were set to" the amount of weir water "and" the amount of water tank "chapter;

--- Add "U-shaped channel parabolic shaped weir plate" in the amount of weir weir water to amend the "long throat amount of water tank" on the "amount of water threshold," the inclusion Relationship, the "amount of water" into the amount of water weir water;

--- In the amount of water tank volume added "wing-type sink" and "long throat amount of water tank" methods and requirements of water to strengthen the irrigation channels The main method of measuring the amount of water in the system sink;

--- In the "instrument water" new "electronic water gauge" amount of water methods and requirements to meet the irrigation channel system of automated water and water The use of environmental technology requirements;

--- In recent years, some new overseas water measuring equipment and some domestic traditional water measuring methods are listed as informative;

--- GB/T 21303-2007 Chapter 10 "Estimation of the uncertainty of flow measurement" as an information appendix to be listed;

--- "Observations and data processing to replace" GB/T 21303-2007 "irrigation canal water management" and delete the original standard In the provisions of administrative regulations, highlighting the technical requirements of canal water.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the main technical requirements of irrigation water channel system, the main water facilities and instruments used, requirements and indicators.

This standard applies to new construction, expansion, reconstruction and construction of irrigation channel system of water, also applies to the drainage system of water.
