Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document supersedes GB/T 21096-2013 "Measurement and Standard Methods for Fluorescent Ultraviolet Lamps for Health Care Use" and is consistent with GB/T 21096-2013.

Compared to previous versions, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---Added ignition point location information for single-ended lamps (see 4.2);

---Added information on the distance between the sensor and the lamp axis in the spectral radiometry system (see 5.2);

---Added detailed information on testing double-ended and single-ended UV fluorescent lamps in the measurement and calculation procedures (see 6.1);

---Added maintenance rate code to describe the attenuation of UV irradiance lamps during use (see 6.5);

---A test method for irradiance maintenance rate has been added (see Appendix A);

---A reflectometer has been added (see Appendix D);

---A test lamp data sheet has been added (see Appendix E).

This document is modified to adopt IEC 61228:2020 "Measurement and standard methods for fluorescent ultraviolet lamps for health purposes".

---Appendix A corresponds to Appendix C of IEC 61228:2020;

---Appendix B corresponds to Appendix A of IEC 61228:2020;

---Appendix C corresponds to Appendix B of IEC 61228:2020.

The technical differences between this document and IEC 61228:2020, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---The term and definition of "nominal value" (see IEC 61228:2020, 3.9) have been removed to comply with the basic requirements of Chinese standards;

---IEC 61195 (see Chapter 1) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 18774 to facilitate inter-standard application;

---IEC 61199 has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 16843 (see Chapter 1) to facilitate inter-standard application;

---CIE63 (see 5.1) has been replaced with the normatively referenced GB/T 26179 to facilitate inter-standard collaboration;

---IEC 60335-2-27 (see Annex C, Annex to IEC 61228:2020) has been replaced by the normatively referenced GB/T 4706.85.

This document describes the measurement, evaluation, and standardization methods for the ultraviolet radiation characteristics of fluorescent ultraviolet lamps used for health purposes, and specifies the requirements for such lamps.
