Scope

GB/T 20899.13-2017 is the English-translated version of 金矿石化学分析方法 第13部分:铅、锌、铋、镉、铬、砷和汞量的测定 电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法.

GB/T 20899.13-2017 is the Chinese national method for measuring lead, zinc, bismuth, cadmium, chromium, arsenic and mercury in gold ores by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry.

It is Part 13 of the GB/T 20899 series on the chemical analysis of gold ores, and it fixes each element's determination range: 0.0050% to 5.00% for lead, zinc and arsenic, 0.0050% to 2.00% for bismuth, cadmium and mercury, and 0.010% to 2.00% for chromium.

The sample is dissolved in hydrochloric and nitric acid, or in phosphoric acid when chromium is measured, and the spectral intensity of each element is read against a standard curve with yttrium as the internal standard.

The reagents used are listed, including tartaric acid and ammonium bifluoride solutions. Mining and assay laboratories use it. It was issued on 29 September 2017 and has applied since 1 August 2018.

This section GB/T 20899 Part 13.

This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 20899 specifies the determination of the amount of lead, zinc, bismuth, cadmium, chromium, arsenic and mercury in gold ores.

This section applies to the determination of lead, zinc, bismuth, cadmium, chromium, arsenic and mercury in gold ores, the determination of the elements in Table 1.

2 Method principle

The sample is dissolved in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid (determination of lead, zinc, bismuth, cadmium, arsenic and mercury) or dissolved in phosphoric acid (determination of chromium) In the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer selected conditions, the determination of the test solution of the spectral intensity of each element, with yttrium as the internal standard, press Standard curve method for calculating lead, zinc, bismuth, cadmium, chromium, arsenic and mercury.

3 Reagent

Unless otherwise specified, analytical reagents are used in the assay with either deionized or distilled water or rather pure water.

3.1 Nitric acid (p = 1.42 g/mL).

3.2 Hydrochloric acid (p = 1.19 g/mL).

3.3 Perchloric acid (rho = 1.76g/mL).

3.4 Sulfuric acid (p = 1.84 g/mL).

3.5 Phosphate (p = 1.87 g/mL).

3.6 Hydrofluoric acid (p = 1.14 g/mL).

3.7 Tartaric acid solution (200g/L).

3.8 Ammonium bifluoride solution (200 g/L).
