Foreword

GB/T 20888 "Safety Requirements and Tests of Forestry Machinery Pole Power Pruning Saws" is divided into two parts.

--- Part 1. Side-mounted power pruning saw;

--- Part 2. Piggyback power pruning saw.

This part is part 2 of GB/T 20888.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB 20888.2-2013 "Safety Requirements and Tests for Forestry Machinery Pole Power Pruning Saws Part 2. Piggyback

"Power pruning saw", compared with GB 20888.2-2013, the main technical content has not changed.

The translation method used in this section is equivalent to the use of ISO 11680-2..2011 "Safety Requirements and Tests for Forestry Machinery Pole Power Pruning Saws, Part 2"

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 20888 specifies the rod type with a piggyback power device and the power source transmits power to the cutting component via the transmission shaft

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 20888.1-2020 and ISO 12100 and the following apply to this document.

Appliance

Installed with drive shaft sleeve, cutting accessories, sprocket guard and handle device.

3.2

Machine

A pole-type power pruning saw including a power source and appliances, a machine for cutting branches on tree trunks.
