Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 20880-2007 "Food Dextrose".

Compared with GB/T 20880-2007, the main technical changes in this standard are as follows.

--- Modified standard English name;

--- Adjusted normative references;

--- Remove the technical content of full powdered sugar;

---Modified sensory requirements;

--- Increased sensory test methods;

--- Removed inspection requirements for sulfuric acid ash from factory inspection items.

This standard was proposed by the National Food Industry Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC64).

This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Technical Committee of Industrial Fermentation of the National Food Industry Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC64/SC5).

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

One-water glucose dextrosemonohydrate

The glucose liquid obtained through liquefaction and saccharification using starch or starch as raw material, and then purified, concentrated, cooled and crystallized.

A crystalline water product.

Anhydrous glucose dextroseanhydrate

Glucose liquid obtained by liquefaction and saccharification using starch or starch as raw material, and then refined, concentrated, and evaporated.

4 Product Category

According to the production process is divided into anhydrous glucose (C6H12O6) and glucose in water (C6H12O6 . H2O).
