Energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometers are fitted to scanning electron microscopes and electron probe microanalysers to identify and quantify elements in a sample. This document belongs to the microbeam analysis field and addresses the main instrumental performance parameters used to specify such spectrometers, together with ways of checking them, as the Chinese title indicates.

GB/T 20726-2025 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 29 August 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 March 2026.
This edition replaces GB/T 20726-2015.
