This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part uses the redrafting law to amend and adopt ISO 12176-4.2003 "Plastic pipes and pipe fittings polyethylene system welding equipment"

Part 4.Traceability Code.

Compared with ISO 12176-4.2003, this part has many adjustments in structure. This part and ISO 12176-4 are listed in Appendix A.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 20764 specifies the terms and definitions of traceable coding for polyethylene (PE) piping system fusion equipment, coding system design,

Information coding, data carrier.

This part, together with other parts of GB/T 20764, is applicable to the traceability of gas/water supply polyethylene piping system welding equipment.

The compiled code is recognized and read by letters or numbers, such as bar codes.

This section also applies to polyethylene gas/water supply piping system pipes, fittings and valves, as well as the welding of their assemblies. For example. make

Hot-melt butt connection, hot-melt socket connection or hot-melt saddle connection, electrofusion connection (socket and saddle), induction welding and mechanical connection with welding tools.
