3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 2900.23-2008, GB 19518.1-2004 define the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Temperature coefficient of resistivity

Reflecting the resistivity versus temperature relationship. Positive temperature coefficient resistivity represents the resistance increases with increasing temperature, resistivity negative

Temperature coefficient represents the resistivity decreases with increasing temperature.

3.2 Heating material

Having a resistivity of a positive temperature coefficient [PTC] characteristics of polymer composite conductive material.

3.3

By the conductor, heat insulation material and extruded and applied metallic or nonmetallic sheath can limit its own maximum heating temperature zone

Like heating element.
