This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 12215-8.2009 "Small boat hull structure and component size part 8. rudder" and its

First Amendment in.2010.

This section also made the following editorial changes.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 19314 specifies the component rule of the rudder mounted on the dinghy of the hull length not exceeding 24 m measured according to ISO 8666.

Inch. This section applies only to individual boats.

This section does not specify the characteristics of the rudder handling capability.

This section only considers the pressure load acting on the rudder due to the manipulation of the boat. Acting on the rudder or rudder post due to stranding or docking (if

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Design category designcategories

The design of the boat to be assessed in accordance with this section is divided according to applicable sea conditions and wind power. Assume that the boat is driving correctly, speed and main sea conditions

Design category A ("Ocean") designcategoryA ("ocean")

Suitable for sailing on a sea with a high wave height of more than 4m and a wind speed exceeding the level of Beaufort but excluding anomalies such as hurricanes.

3.1.2

Design category B ("offshore") designcategoryB ("offshore")

It is suitable for sailing in a sea with a wave height of no more than 4m and a wind speed not exceeding the level of Beaufort.
