Foreword

GB/T 18993 "Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-C) Piping System for Hot and Cold Water" is divided into 5 parts.

---Part 1.General Provisions;

---Part 2.Pipes;

---Part 3.Pipe fittings;

---Part 4.Valve;

---Part 5.System applicability.

This part is Part 3 of GB/T 18993.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 18993.3-2003 "Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) piping system for cold and hot water Part 3.Pipe fittings",

Compared with GB/T 18993.3-2003, the main technical changes are as follows.

---Modified the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2003 edition);

---Updated normative references (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2003 edition);

---Added terms and definitions, symbols (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2003 edition);

---Modified the requirements for recycled materials (see 4.2, Chapter 4 of the.2003 edition);

---Added the requirements for adhesives (see 4.3);

---Modified product classification (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2003 edition);

--- Modify the color requirements (see 6.1,.2003 version 6.1);

---Added the requirements for the wall thickness of the socket socket of the pipe fitting (see 6.3.2);

--- Deleted the requirement of the out-of-roundness deviation of the cylindrical socket size (see 6.4.3 of the.2003 edition);

--- The specific content of the system suitability test is deleted (see 6.9 in the.2003 edition);

---Modified the adjustment of the test state (see 8.1, 7.1 of the.2003 edition);

---Inspection classification has been added (see 9.1);

---Modified the factory inspection items (see 9.4.1, 8.4.1 of the.2003 edition);

--- Modify "Qualified Quality Level 6.5 Inspection" to "Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) 4.0" (see 9.4.2, 8.4.2 of the.2003 edition);

---Modified the requirements for type inspection (see 9.5, 8.5 in.2003 edition);

---Modified the judgment rules (see 9.6, 8.6 in the.2003 edition);

---Adjust the flange size and schematic diagram of the.2003 version of 6.4.4 to Appendix C (see Appendix C);

---The basic type and installation length of pipe fittings have been increased (see Appendix D).

This part uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 15877-3.2009 "Plastic piping system for cold and hot water. Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride

(PVC-C) Part 3.Pipe Fittings.

Compared with ISO 15877-3.2009, this part has more structural adjustments. Appendix A lists this part and ISO 15877-3.

The.2009 chapter number comparison list.

Compared with ISO 15877-3.2009, this part has technical differences. The clauses related to these differences have been passed on the outer margins.

The vertical single line (|) of the position is marked, and a list of the corresponding technical differences and their reasons is given in Appendix B.

This section has made the following editorial changes.

--- Amend the standard name to "Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-C) Piping System for Cold and Hot Water Part 3.Pipe Fittings".
