This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 18961-2012 "Forestry Machinery Portable Mowers and Brush Cutters Vocabulary", and GB/T 18961-

Compared with:2012, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed "logging", "brushcutter", "circular saw brushcutter", "low speed mixture regulator", "exhaust system", "knapsack power unit"

The definition of "maximum power speed" (see 3:1:1, 3:2:1, 3:2:2, 3:6:2, 3:8:1, 3:9:2 and 3:9:9, 2:1:1,:2012 edition

2:2:1, 2:2:2, 2:6:2, 2:8:1, 2:9:2 and 2:9:9);

b) Changed the term "crushing" to "shredding" and revised its definition (see 3:1:2, 2:1:2 of the:2012 edition);

c) Change the term "blade bounce" to "cutting part bounce" and modify its definition (see 3:1:4, 2:1:4 of the:2012 edition);

d) Changed the term "blade" to "cutting part" and revised its definition (see 3:3:1:1, 2:3:2 of the:2012 edition);

e) Changed the term "slinging cutting part" to "flexible cutting part" and revised its definition (see 3:3:1:3,:2012 edition

f) Changed the term "blade support device" to "cutting part fixture" and revised its definition, adding two terms

"Circular saw blade fixing device" and "fixing device" (see 3:4:1, 2:4:1 of the:2012 edition);

g) Change the term "cutting accessory safety cover" to "cutting accessory guard" (see 3:4:2, 2:4:2 of the:2012 edition);

h) Changed the term "blade cover" to "cutting part cover" and revised its definition, while adding the term "transport cover" (see

3:4:3, 2:4:3 of the:2012 edition);

i) Change the term "hand pull back rope starter" to "rebound rope starter" and modify its definition (see 3:5:3:1,:2012

version 2:5:3:1);

j) Change the term "electric starter" to "electric starter" and modify its definition (see 3:5:3:2, 2:5:3:2 of the:2012 edition);

k) Changed the term "starting throttle locking device" to "throttle control lock", and revised its definition (see 3:5:5,:2012 edition

l) Changed the term "hand grip area" to "grip area" and revised its definition (see 3:7:2, 2:7:2 of the:2012 edition);

m) Change the term "high-speed idling speed" to "highest idling speed" and modify its definition (see 3:9:10,:2012 edition

n) Added the terms and definitions of "net mass/net weight" (see 3:9:11):

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document:
