GB/T 18874.5-2026 is the English-translated version of 起重机供需双方提供的资料第5部分：桥式和门式起重机.

Buying a crane involves a detailed exchange of technical information between the customer and the supplier. This standard, Part 5 of the series on cranes, concerns the information to be provided for bridge and gantry cranes. It supports clear enquiries, quotations and contracts for these crane types. It is a recommended national standard.

Crane manufacturers, project engineers, plant owners, procurement staff, consultants and installers can use it as a checklist when preparing or evaluating specifications. It is intended to reduce misunderstandings at the tendering stage and so helps both buyers and suppliers.

GB/T 18874.5-2026 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 28 January 2026 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 August 2026.

This edition replaces GB/T 18874.5-2002.
