Foreword

GB/T 18874 "Information on the supply and demand sides of cranes" is divided into the following sections.

--- Part 5. Bridge and gantry cranes.

This part is the third part of GB/T 18874.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 18874.3-2009 "The information provided by the supply and demand sides of the crane Part 3. Tower crane", and

The main changes compared with GB/T 18874.3-2009 are as follows.

--- Change the normative appendix to an informative appendix;

--- Added two examples of tower cranes.

This part uses the translation method equivalent to the ISO 9374-3.2014 "crane consulting, ordering, sales, supply should provide information

Part 3. Tower Cranes.

This section has made the following editorial changes.

--- Modified the standard name;

--- Figure 1, Figure 2 increases the maximum radius of gyration W1;

--- Q3 in Figure 5 is changed to Q1.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 18874 specifies the relevant information that the following parties should provide for tower cranes (hereinafter referred to as "tower cranes").

a) The consulting party (the buyer of the consulting tower machine) shall be provided by the purchaser at the time of inquiry;

b) The ordering party (the buyer of the ordering tower machine) is provided by the purchaser when ordering;

c) the seller (the supplier of the sales tower crane) is quoted by the manufacturer;

d) Manufacturer/supplier (supplier supplying the tower crane) supplied by the manufacturer.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in ISO 4306-3.2003 and ISO 4306-3.2003/Amd.1.2011 apply to this section.

4 Information that the acquirer should provide when consulting and ordering the tower crane

The acquirer shall provide the necessary information to enable the tower crane manufacturer/supplier to provide the tower crane that meets the technical performance requirements of the demander. Tower crane basic
