This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This Part replaces GB/T 18787-2002 "electronic book reader universal norms", compared with the GB/T 18787-2002, in addition to editing Modifications, mainly technical changes are as follows.

--- Increased terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);

--- Revised requirements for Chinese information processing (see 43, 2002. Version 5.5.);

--- Increased network requirements (see 4.6);

--- Revised the functional requirements (see section 4.7 and 5.7);

--- An increase of some performance requirements and test methods (see 4.8 and 5.8);

--- Increasing the requirements and test methods (see 4.12.2 and 5.12.6) free fall;

--- Revised reliability requirements (see 413, 2002 edition 5.13.);

--- Increase the limit requirements and test methods for restricted substances (see 4.14 and 5.14);

--- Increased battery requirements and test methods (see 4.15 and 5.15).

1 Scope

GB/T 18787 provisions of this part of the e-book device (hereinafter referred to as "Product") terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, Quality assessment procedures and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.

This section applies to electronic paper or liquid crystal display products, and other electronic paper or liquid crystal display device and to read Design and manufacturing as the core of a portable electronic products.
