Scope
GB/T 18389-2025 is the English-translated version of 农业机械流通服务要求.
GB/T 18389-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering what a dealer who sells tractors and harvesters has to have and to do — the management systems, the personnel including the training instructors, the premises, the service vehicles and the information systems, the pre-sales, sales and after-sales service, the training and information services, the follow-up call and the handling of complaints, the evaluation and improvement, and the scoring method that grades a dealer. The 2001 text set the conditions for opening a dealership; the 2025 one sets what the service has to deliver. It replaces GB/T 18389-2001, under the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. In force from 1 October 2025. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 October 2025, replacing GB/T 18389-2001.
