This standard rule according to GB/T 1.1-2009 given draft.

This standard replaces GB/T 18220-2000 "handheld personal information processing apparatus universal norms." This standard compared with GB/T 18220-2000, major technical changes in addition to editorial changes outside as follows.

--- Increase the display part requirements and inspection (see 4.8 and 5.9);

--- Increases the battery requirements and inspection (see 4.10 and 5.11);

--- Increased document format requirements and inspection (see 4.11 and 5.12);

--- Increased energy requirements and inspection (see 4.12 and 5.13);

--- Increasing the harmful substances and inspection (see 4.17 and 5.18);

1 Scope

This standard specifies requirements for hand-held information processing equipment, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to all types of hand-held information processing apparatus (hereinafter referred to as the product) design, production, testing, testing.
