Foreword
The plan of GB/T 17989 "Control Chart" is divided into the following 9 parts.
--- Part 1. General guidelines;
--- Part 2. Conventional control chart;
--- Part 3. Acceptance control chart;
--- Part 4. Cumulative and control charts;
--- Part 5. Special control charts;
--- Part 6. Exponentially weighted moving average control chart;
--- Part 7. Multiple control charts;
--- Part 8. Short cycle and small batch control methods;
--- Part 9. Autocorrelation process control chart.
This part is Part 3 of GB/T 17989.
This section is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 7870-3..2012 "Control Chart Part 3. Acceptance Control Chart".
The technical differences between this section and ISO 7870-3..2012 and their causes are as follows.
--- Regarding the normative references, this section has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to China's technical conditions and the situation of adjustment.
The situation is reflected in Chapter 2 "Regulatory Reference Documents", and the specific adjustments are as follows.
* Replace ISO 3534-1 with GB/T 3358.1 equivalent to the international standard;
* Replace ISO 3534-2 with GB/T 3358.2 equivalent to the international standard;
* Added reference to GB/T 17989.1;
--- Add the term 3.2 "Rejection process", and move the note from 3.1 to 3.2, and modify Note 2 to "Note 2. Acceptable process area and rejection

Introduction
The acceptance control chart combines the control chart idea with the acceptance sampling and is a tool used to determine whether the process is accepted. Acceptance of the decision process
The foundation can be defined in terms of.
a) whether the percentage of the specified items of products or services from the process meet the specification requirements;
b) Whether the process has exceeded an allowed process level domain.
The difference from most acceptance sampling methods is the emphasis on process acceptability rather than product disposal decisions.
The difference from conventional control charts is that the concept of receivable processes is introduced in process control. The process usually does not require a single
Standard process level, as long as the variation within the subgroup is in a controlled state and is far less than the tolerable fluctuation range, it can be within any control limit.
What level or process level field is running, the process is still acceptable at this time. Therefore, it is assumed that some non-random causes will lead to a process level

Processes within the receivable process area represented by a conventional control chart with a centerline.
