Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 17929-1999 "Vehicle quartz clock." This standard and GB/T 17929-1999 main technical differences are as follows:
--- Cancel the "Definitions" chapter;
--- Increasing the strength of the connection terminals, key reliability, fatigue resistance and drop buttons (4.8,4.9,4.10,4.13);
--- Increased aging resistance, durability canceled (4.12);
--- Increased resistance to temperature cycling, thermal shock resistance, and temperature and humidity cycling (4.15);
--- Increasing the resistance of the power supply voltage variation (4.21);
--- Increased electromagnetic compatibility (4.22);
--- Cancel the magnetic properties;
--- Modify the instantaneous difference between the test method (5.2.4). Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix. The standard proposed by China National Light Industry Council. This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee clocks (SAC/TC160) centralized. This standard was drafted. Wuhan Cheng Sheng Electronics Co., Ltd. This standard specifies the automotive quartz (referred to as the automobile clock) classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and Storage. This standard applies to all types of automotive quartz clock, clock-vehicle information display and on-board part of the composite display, automobile clock movement Referring also to use.

4 Requirements
4.1 Operating Temperature Automobile clock in a temperature range of -30 °C ~ 80 °C should be kept away.

4.2.2 B-type automobile clock in DC18V ~ DC30V operating voltage range should be kept away.
