This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 17924-2008 "General Requirements for Geographical Indication Products". Compared with GB/T 17924-2008, except for the conclusion... Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope of the standard has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);

b) The definition of "Geographical Indication Product" has been changed (see 3.1,.2008 edition of 3.1);

c) The fundamental principles have been removed (see Chapter 4 of the.2008 edition);

d) General requirements have been added (see Chapter 4);

e) The file name has been changed (see 5.1,.2008 version 5.1);

f) Added a file structure (see 5.2);

1 Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for the compilation of quality standards for geographical indication products, including the document name, structure, and elements. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 44584, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

4 General Requirements

4.1 Documents shall be drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1.

4.2 The drafting of the document should highlight the quality characteristics of the geographical indication product, reflecting its authenticity, regionality, distinctiveness, and relevance. Connection.

4.3 The geographical indication product names, place of origin, quality requirements, etc., mentioned in the document should be consistent with the requirements of the State Council's intellectual property administration department regarding geographical indications.
