Scope
GB/T 17802-2011 is the English-translated version of 热不稳定物质动力学常数的热分析试验方法.
GB/T 17802-2011 sets out thermal analysis test methods for obtaining the Arrhenius kinetics constants of thermally unstable materials by differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the terms and definitions, principle, instruments and materials, samples, test procedures, data processing, error and test report for measuring the kinetic constants of the exothermic reaction of thermally unstable substances, and that it applies to reactions that can generally be described by the Arrhenius equation and the rate laws.
The same clause excludes cases where the curve deviates from a straight line, where part of the reaction is suppressed, where reactions are synchronous or consecutive, and where the reaction undergoes a phase transition whose temperature change is very significant and cannot be controlled.
The draft on the page shows clause 1 Scope, clause 2 Normative references and clause 3 Terms and Definitions, and clause 2 cites GB/T 6425 and GB/T 13464-2008.
Clause 3 defines activation energy (E), pre-exponential factor (Z), half-life (t1/2), aging, aging time and, new in this edition, the Arrhenius equation, and the draft breaks off inside 3.6 before that last entry is fully printed.
The foreword records that the title was changed, that the ASTM foreword of the 1999 edition was removed, that the scope was modified, that one term was added at 3.6, that the programmed heating rate required of the instrument was changed from 0.5 C/min to 30 C/min to 1 C/min to 10 C/min at 5.1, and that the prescribed number of tests was increased at 7.6; it also records that the DSC test method and data processing refer to the US ASTM E698 2001 standard test method, that the standard was proposed by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, that it is administered by SAC/TC113/SC1, and that it was drafted by the Tianjin Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security.
It replaces GB/T 17802-1999, was issued on 20 July 2011 and has applied since 1 November 2011.

Foreword
This standard is prepared in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 17802-1999 "Thermal analysis test methods for kinetic constants of combustible material." This standard compared with GB/T 17802-1999, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Changing the name of the standard;
--- Remove the ASTM foreword (see edition of the 1999 ASTM foreword);
--- Modify the scope of the standard (see Excerpts Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 1999 edition);
--- Increased terms and definitions (see 3.6);
--- Modify the instrument parameters required rate of temperature-programmed by "0.5 °C/min ~ 30 °C/min" to "1 °C/min ~ 10 °C / min "(see this edition 5.1,1999 version 6.2);
--- Increasing the number of tests prescribed (see 7.6).
The Standard Test Method for DSC and data processing reference uses the US ASTME698:2001 "thermally unstable substances A Lunni Standard Test Method for Constant "(2001 English) ust kinetics.
The standard proposed by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Public Security.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the use of differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement of thermally unstable substances exothermic reaction Terms and definitions Thermal analysis test Arrhenius equation kinetic constants, principles, instruments and materials, samples, test procedures, data processing, Error and test reports.
This standard applies to the Arrhenius equation and the reaction can be generally described by the rate law.
This standard does not apply to curve deviates from a straight line, part of the reaction is suppressed, synchronized or continuous reaction, undergo a phase transition and the reaction rate of change The temperature of the chemical reaction is very significant and can not control.
