Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part
1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB 19157-2003 "General Technical Specifications for Remote Control Fire Monitor Systems". Compared with GB 19157-2003, except for the structural adjustment, In addition to the integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) The terms and definitions have been changed (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2003 edition);
b) The classification of remote-controlled fire monitor systems has been changed (see 4.1,.2003 edition);
c) The method for compiling the model of remote-controlled fire monitor systems has been changed (see 4.2,
4.2 of the.2003 edition);
d) Added appearance performance requirements for electroplated parts (see 5.1.4);
e) Added component performance requirements and test methods (see 5.2, 6.2);
f) Added performance requirements and test methods for remote-controlled fire monitors, and changed the spray performance requirements and test methods for operational-controlled fire monitor systems. (See 5.3, 6.3);
g) The performance parameters have been changed to include them as part of the performance requirements (see 5.3, Chapter 5 of the.2003 edition);
h) The water pressure strength performance requirements and test methods have been changed (see 5.2.2, 6.2.2, and
7.2 of the.2003 edition);
i) The requirements and test methods for the performance of remote-controlled fire monitor spray systems have been modified (see 5.3, 6.3, Chapter 5 of the.2003 edition);
j) The requirements and test methods for the performance of wireless remote controls have been changed (see 5.4, 6.4, and 5.6,

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB 19156-2019 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 It is composed of a fixed fire extinguishing agent supply source, a drive component, a delivery pipeline, a spray component, and a control device that can remotely control the direction of the fire monitor. A fixed fire extinguishing system that sprays fire extinguishing agents to extinguish fires on protected objects.
3.2 A remote-controlled fire monitor system consists of a remote-controlled fire monitor, fire monitor turret, power source, control device, fire pump group, etc.
3.3 It is composed of remote-controlled fire foam monitor, fire turret, power source, control device, fire extinguishing agent storage tank (tank), mixing device, fire pump group, etc.
