1 Scope

GB/T 17680.12-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the nuclear emergency exercise - the objectives and the scenario built to test them, the controllers and evaluators, the conduct on the day, and the evaluation and corrective actions, which is the only part that changes anything. This document sets forth the guidelines for the planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of nuclear power plant nuclear accident emergency drills (hereinafter referred to as "drills"). 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Emergency exercise This was conducted to test the effectiveness of the emergency plan, the comprehensiveness of emergency preparedness, the adaptability of emergency response capabilities, and the coordination of emergency personnel. This is a practice activity that simulates emergency response.

3.2 Accident scenario The description of the events or accidents simulated in the exercise includes the sequence of events (accidents), state characteristics, and the evolution process over time.

3.3 Exercise scenario To organize and implement nuclear emergency drills and achieve the expected objectives, based on accident scenarios, the sequence of events (accidents) and their timing are analyzed. The process should be appropriately trimmed, compressed, or expanded, and the characteristics and process of the event (accident) should be described in detail, along with the corresponding response actions.
