What this standard covers

This standard specifies the required size fiber reinforced plastic, temperature and soaking time measured amount of water absorption equipment, specimens, test procedures, calculations, test results and test reports. This standard applies to the determination of water absorption of fiber-reinforced plastics, the results for comparison purposes only and not used to represent the maximum amount of water may be inhaled. Only the same size, the same physical state as the comparison sample to be absorbent. This standard specifies two methods of soaking temperatures were 23°C and the boiling temperature. Temperatures will occur in a boiling water lost its original shape even soften the fiber reinforced plastic, the test only 23°.
