1 Scope

GB/T 17420-2020 is the Chinese national standard on foliar microelement fertilizer, in the field of agriculture. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 19 November 2020 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 June 2021. NY/T 1973, Water-soluble fertilizers - Determination of water insoluble matter content and pH Quickly mix the collected combined samples; reduce them to about 200 g (200 mL), and divide them into two clean, dry jars or polyethylene bottles with ground stoppers; paste the labels, which indicate name of the manufacturer, product name, batch number, sampling date, and name of the person who took the sample. One bottle is used for product inspection; one bottle is sealed and stored for two months for later use.

5 Test method

5.1 General provisions The preparation of reagents, water and solutions that are used in this Standard, when the specifications and preparation methods are not specified, shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of HG/T 2843.

5.2 Sample preparation Perform according to the provisions of NY/T 1974.

5.3 Appearance inspection Visually inspect.
