Laboratory use specifications and test methods GB/T 6682 Analysis
Principle 3
Sample hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid decomposition of the samples contained traces of cesium oxide, the dispensing part extract separation with ammonia and ammonium carbonate, iron and aluminum
An alkaline earth metal; cerium oxide samples containing higher amounts of directly dispensing the extract, then adding a certain amount of potassium as deionization agent, in 1% sulfuric acid medium
Quality, and on the atomic absorption spectrophotometer, at a wavelength of 852.1nm, using air - acetylene flame measured absorbance or cerium oxide emission intensity
Degrees, calculate the amount of cesium oxide.
4 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis are consistent with the use of analytical reagents and GB/T 6682 water analytical laboratory.
4.1
Hydrofluoric acid (rho1.13g/mL). WARNING. Hydrofluoric acid is toxic and corrosive, the operation should wear gloves to prevent skin contact
4.2 sulfate (11)
Warning. When diluted improper operation could easily cause burns
4.3 potassium chloride solution rho (K2O) = 30mg/mL
Take 47.49g potassium chloride (KCl) in a beaker, dissolved in water and transferred to 1000mL capacity
Volumetric flask, dilute to the mark, shake.
4.4
Aqueous ammonia (11).
4.5
ammonium carbonate solution [rho (NH4HCO3 NH2COONH4) = 100g/L].
4.6
ammonium carbonate solution [rho (NH4HCO3 NH2COONH4) = 10g/L].
Cesium oxide 4.7 Standard solution.
a) cerium oxide standard stock solution. Weigh 0.5974g spectroscopically pure cesium chloride (105 °C bake 2h and placed in the dryer to cool to room
Temperature) in 250mL beaker, add water, dissolved and transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark, shake. This solution
Cerium oxide concentration was 0.50mg/mL;
b) cerium oxide standard solution. Pipette 25.00mL cesium oxide standard stock solution [4.7a)], set 500mL flask with water
Dilute to the mark. Cerium oxide concentration of the solution was 25.00µg/mL.
