GB/T 17117-2008 is the Chinese national standard on binoculars, in the field of image technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 30 December 2008 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 August 2009. Classification: ICS 37.020, CCS N31. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. --- The two standards into one, the same contents to merge.
--- Standard name changed to "binoculars."
--- Test Method for optical properties and structural performance indicators by GB/T 18312-2001 "binoculars inspection rules" set forth in method. The standard proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee photon science and optics (SAC/TC103) centralized. This standard was drafted. Shanghai Polytechnic University, China Ordnance Industry Standardization Institute. The main drafters of this standard. Huang Weijia, Hu Yu, wheat Green Wave.
