Scope

GB/T 15658-2012 is the English-translated version of 无线电噪声测量方法.

GB/T 15658-2012 lays down how radio noise is measured.

Clause 1 states that it specifies the general classification of radio noise in radio applications, the methods of measurement for the characteristics of the different types of noise and the methods of data processing, and that it also specifies the performance targets the measuring equipment is to meet; its application is limited to the measurement of radio noise characteristics in the 9 kHz to 18 GHz band.

Clause 2 cites GB 4824-2004, GB/T 6113.101-2008, GB/T 7349-2002 and GB/T 15709-1995.

Clause 3, Terms and Definitions, opens with 3.1, WGN or white Gaussian noise, described as a continuous noise signal with a flat power spectral density across the measurement bandwidth, with wired computer networks, power lines and cosmic noise given as its usual sources, followed by its one-dimensional probability density function; the draft breaks off inside this definition, so the body beyond it cannot be reported.

The foreword does give the headings of the later clauses as they were reorganised from the 1995 edition: clause 4 became measurement parameters, with 4.1 on WGN measurement parameters and a new 4.2 on pulse noise measurement parameters, clause 5 became measuring device and gained the APD measuring receiver, clause 6 became measuring method and clause 7 became data acquisition and data processing.

The foreword also records that the definition of white Gaussian noise was added and that of impulse noise modified, that four normative references and two ITU-R references were added and that Appendices A, B and C of the 1995 edition were deleted.

The standard was first released in 1995 and this is its first revision. It replaces GB/T 15658-1995, was issued on 2012-12-31 and has applied since 2013-06-01.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This standard replaces GB/T 15658-1995 "city radio noise measurement method." To adapt to modern technology and electromagnetic measurements Changes in the environment, this standard is modified as follows.

--- Original standard name of "urban radio noise measurement method" to "radio noise measurement method." --- Chapter 1, the original standard heading "subject matter and scope" to "range", the content is changed to "This standard specifies the radio should General Methods of measurement for radio noise category and noise characteristics of different types and data processing methods. Also provides a measure The amount of equipment should meet performance targets. This standard applies to 9kHz ~ 18GHz band radio noise characteristics measuring. " --- Original standard in Chapter 2, the heading "reference standard" to "normative references" Change the contents "of this document for the following files Application is essential. For cited documents with dates, only the dated edition applies to this document. Undated Reference documents, the latest edition (including any amendments) applies to this document. "And adds four normative references.

--- Original standard in Chapter 3, the title "term" to "Terms and Definitions" adds white Gaussian noise is defined, the definition of impulse noise made modify.

--- Original standard Chapter 4, the title "Characterization of radio noise field strength parameters" to "measurement parameters." Original standard of 4.1, 4.2 change New standards in 4.1.1 and 4.1.2, the new parameters on the pulse noise measurement 4.2.

--- Original title standard 4.1 "equivalent antenna noise factor" is changed to "WGN measurement parameters." --- Original content changes to the standard 4.1 "This standard is the equivalent antenna noise figure to represent Gaussian white noise level." --- Original standard Chapter 5, "equivalent measure antenna noise factor" delete, change the "measuring device." Adds "APD measuring receiver machine".

--- Original standard Chapter 6, "the choice of site and data processing" delete, change the "measuring method", the contents of the rearranged and modified.

--- Original standard Chapter 7, "measurement time" delete, change to "data acquisition and data processing." Increase the data acquisition and data processing Specific content.

--- Delete the original standard Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C.

--- Increased 2 ITU-R references.

The standard proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China. The standard by the China Communications Standards Association.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the general classification of methods of measurement of radio noise in radio applications and different types of noise characteristics and a data processing law. Also provides the measuring equipment should meet performance targets.

This standard applies to 9kHz ~ 18GHz band measuring radio noise characteristics.

2 Normative references

The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version suitable for use herein Member. For undated references, the latest edition (including any amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 WGN

Over the entire frequency range of the measurement bandwidth around, having a flat power spectral density of the continuous noise signal (see ITU-R Recommendation SM 1753-2010). Gaussian white noise source is usually wired computer networks, power lines and cosmic noise. The amount of electromagnetic Gaussian white noise is Non-correlation vector, bandwidth is equal to or greater than the receiver bandwidth, power spectrum level over the measurement bandwidth increases linearly. WGN one-dimensional probability density function can be expressed as.

p (x) = 1 2pisigma exp [- (Xa) 2 2sigma2

Where. a --- mean Gaussian white noise; sigma2 --- white Gaussian noise variance.

Typically, the mean AWGN communication channel a = 0. In this case, the noise variance. sigma2 = D [n (t)] = E {[n (t) -E (n (t))] 2} = E {[n2 (t)} - [E (n (t))] 2 = R (0) -a2 = R (0)

The average power of the noise. Pn = 12pi -infinity Pn (w) dw = R (0)
