Scope

GB/T 14995-2025 is the English-translated version of 变形高温合金 热轧板材.

GB/T 14995-2025 is the Chinese national standard on wrought superalloy - hot-rolled plates, in the field of metallurgy. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 29 August 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 March 2026. Classification: ICS 77.140.99, CCS H57. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

This document specifies the ordering details, manufacturing process, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificate for hot-rolled plates of wrought superalloy (hereinafter referred to as alloys). This document applies to superalloy hot-rolled plates (hereinafter referred to as plates) with a nominal thickness of

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 14992 apply to this document.

4 Order details

Contracts or orders placed in accordance with this document should include the following.

a) this document number;

b) product name;

d) weight (or quantity);

e) smelting methods (see 5.1);

f) delivery condition (see 5.2);

h) class of the dimensional permissible deviation (see 6.7.2);

i) specific and multiple lengths (to specify if required);

j) items or indicators to be negotiated by both the supplier and the buyer and specified in the contract (if not specified, the supplier shall select them);

k) other special requirements.

5 Manufacturing process

5.1 Smelting method The alloy shall be smelted using the methods specified in Table 1, or other smelting methods agreed upon by both the supplier and the purchaser that meet the requirements of this document. The smelting method used shall be specified in the contract and the certificate of quality.

6.1 Grade and chemical composition

6.1.1 The alloy grade and chemical composition (heat analysis) shall conform to the provisions of Table 3.

6.1.2 As required by the buyer, and upon negotiation between the supplier and the buyer and as specified in the contract, the supplier may supply alloys with a stricter composition range than that specified in Table 3.

6.1.3 The permissible deviation of the chemical composition of finished plates shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 222, wherein the permissible deviation of the titanium element chemical composition of GH1140 finished plates is -0 0.05%.

6.7.6 With the consent of both the supplier and the buyer, delivery may be made in multiple lengths, and rounded corners are permitted. For short or narrow plates caused by taking samples, one sheet may be delivered per batch (two sheets may be delivered if the quantity of each batch is not less than 100 sheets).

6.7.7 Plates shall be delivered by actual weight.

7 Test methods

7.1 Chemical composition analysis of the alloy shall be performed in accordance with GB/T 223 (all parts), GB/T 11170, GB/T 20123, GB/T 20124, GB/T 20127 (all parts), GB/T 38939, HB 5220 (all parts), HB 20241 (all parts) or other common methods. The arbitration analysis method shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.

7.2 The dimensions of the plate shall be measured using general-purpose calipers, micrometers, steel tape measures, or other measuring tools of appropriate precision. The thickness of the alloy plate shall be measured at a distance of not less than 25 mm from the edge (longitudinal and transverse edges).
