Scope
GB/T 14634.1-2010 is the English-translated version of 灯用稀土三基色荧光粉试验方法 第1部分:相对亮度的测定.
GB/T 14634.1-2010 is the Chinese national method for measuring the relative brightness of rare earth three-band phosphors used in fluorescent lamps, and is Part 1 of the seven-part GB/T 14634 series.
The phosphor is excited at 253.7 nm, the visible light it emits is read by a photodetector corrected to the V(lambda) function as a photocurrent or photovoltage, and that value is compared with a standard phosphor measured under the same conditions.
It fixes the 0/d, 45/0 and 0/45 excitation and viewing geometries, the integrating sphere coating, the low-pressure mercury lamp of 2 W to 20 W with its 253.7 nm filter, the stainless steel sample tray, the V(lambda) photodetector and the reading instrument.
Phosphor producers and lamp laboratories use it. It replaces GB/T 14634.1-2002, was issued on 9 August 2010 and has applied since 1 May 2011.

Foreword
GB/T 14634 "light rare earth trichromatic phosphors Test Method" is divided into seven sections.
--- Part 1. Determination of relative brightness;
--- Part 2. Determination of emission peak and color performance;
--- Part 3. Determination of thermal stability;
--- Part 4. Electric sensing particle size distribution measurement;
--- Part 5. Determination of density;
--- Part 6. Determination of specific surface area;
--- Part 7. Determination of thermal quenching.
This is Part 1.
This section is GB/T 14634.1-2002 "Determination of relative brightness light rare earth trichromatic phosphors test method" amendment right.
This section compared with the GB/T 14634.1-2002, the main changes are as follows.
--- Increasing the precision of the terms;
--- Standard text made editorial changes.
This part of the National Standardization Technical Committee rare and centralized.
1 Scope
GB/T 14634 provisions of this part of the determination of the relative brightness of the light rare earth trichromatic phosphor methods.
This section applies to the determination of the relative brightness of the phosphor in trichromatic lamps.
2 Principle of the method
Light rare earth trichromatic phosphors emit visible light at 253.7nm UV excitation through by V (lambda) function corrected photodetector Will convert it into a photocurrent or photovoltage, record the value, and then the same standard phosphor under the same conditions measured photocurrent or photovoltage Value comparison, the relative brightness of the light rare earth trichromatic phosphor.
3 Instruments and apparatus
3.1 Sample excitation, measurement conditions
3.1.1 "0/d" refers to the excitation light direction perpendicular to the sample surface, sample fluorescence was collected by an integrating sphere. Integrating sphere wall is coated with non-fluorescent neutral Man Reflective material, reflectance (80 ± 5)%.
3.1.2 "45/0" refers to the direction of the excitation light and the sample surface normal direction at 45 °, the direction perpendicular to the receiving surface of the sample.
3.1.3 "0/45" refers to the excitation light direction perpendicular to the sample surface, the direction of accepting the sample surface normal 45 °.
3.2 Instrument Principle
Instrument principle is shown in Figure 1.
3.3 Excitation light source
Emitting 253.7nm ultraviolet low pressure mercury lamp, power of 2W ~ 20W, with 253.7nm UV filter, the filter Peak transmittance greater than 10%, in the wavelength range of 300nm ~ 800nm transmittance of not more than 0.1%; the excitation of the light source is not stable Less than 0.2%.
3.4 Sample Tray
Made of stainless steel, diameter >=20mm, edge width <=0.5mm, depth >=3mm.
3.5 Photodetectors
Relative spectral responsivity and V (lambda) consistent spectral responsivity of the detector line with a V (lambda) photodetector requirements.
3.6 Meter reading
Reading instrument linearity better than 0.2%, the standard phosphors, the instrument displays the maximum reading of not less than 100, the resolution is not less than 0.1.
3.7 Standard phosphor selection
According to Table 1, selecting the sample to be tested corresponding standard phosphor.
