Scope

GB/T 14618-2012 is the English-translated version of 视距微波接力通信系统与空间无线电通信系统共用频率的技术要求.

GB/T 14618-2012 is the Chinese national standard on frequency sharing criteria between line-of-sight radio-relay communications systems and space radio communications systems, in the field of telecommunications and audio-video engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 31 December 2012 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 June 2013. Classification: ICS 33.060.30, CCS M30. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

This standard specifies the internal 1GHz ~ 40GHz range, line of sight microwave relay communication system (hereinafter referred to as microwave relay systems) and no space Radio communication systems share a frequency with the frequency of the station site selection, power limit, minimum elevation and power flux density technical requirements. This standard applies to radio-relay systems, it does not apply to communications over the horizon radio-relay systems with high sensitivity receiver and convection Horizon communications systems. This standard does not include the case of a satellite broadcasting service with terrestrial radio services share frequencies.
