1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements of VHS video cassette tape, environmental testing, inspection rules and other requirements.

This standard applies to 12. 65mm Bandwidth, VHS format, and the use of technical requirements in line with the provisions of Chapter 2 GB 7399 cassette recording tape cassette.

This document was issued on 24 April 1993 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China, and has been in force since 1 December 1993.
